I came across this video tonight. It is an interview with NW carver Ralph Bennett. The madrona center is a community space on Guemes Island that is run by my friends Lane and Susan.
Unfortunately, the interview gets cut off at the end but the mask is stunning and it is beautiful to hear Ralph talk about his expression and the intention that it carries. I think some people will dig it. So here it is:
