send thier eletric call over the pond.
A dipper flies up the creek
lands on a rock, pumps it legs and takes off
swimming up stream.
The Alders have dropped catkins
that hang like tiny fox tails
on leafless branches.
And the Salmonberries have sprouted
green rosettes of spring leaves.
